China International Tourism Commodities Fair
Smart Travel with Stylish Gadgets, the 9th China International Tourism Commodities Fair to Be Opened in May

The leading trade fair for the tourism commodities and consumptions in Asia – the 9th China International Tourism Commodities Fair (CITCF 2017) is going to be held on 26-29 May 2017 at Yiwu International Expo Center. With the theme of “Smart Travel with Stylish Gadgets”, this year’s fair will again welcome a great line of exhibitors from home and abroad to showcase innovative, intelligent and traditional tourism products and services.

Under the government guidance and market operation, CITCF last year attracted 1,305 leading enterprises from 27 countries and regions including the United States, Sweden, France, Thailand, Burundi, Argentina, Sri Lanka, the Czech Republic, the Philippines, Germany, South Africa, Sudan, Comoros, Cameroon, Senegal, Ethiopia, Uganda, Guinea-Bissau, Tanzania, Kenya, Mali, Madagascar, Japan, Singapore, China Hong Kong and China Taiwan, covering a total display area of 50,000 sqm. During the four-day event, professional buyers from 78 countries and regions visited, the total visits exceeded 100,000 and closed deals totaled RMB 3.612 billion Yuan. Five halls will be especially rolled out for this year’s show, that is, Hall for environmentally-friendly tourist toilets; Hall for provinces and cities to showcase their tourism resources; Hall for thematic showcasing; Hall for outdoor supplies and souvenir; Hall for log cabin, caravan, camping equipment and experience. With the development of rural tourism market, the rural accommodation industry has ushered a rapid developing period as the format innovation of tourism supply front structural reform. In order to promote the virtuous and sustainable development of national rural accommodation industry, enhance the brand recognition of rural accommodation enterprises, strengthen the communication and cooperation among the whole industry, reinforce the rapid development of global tourism in the country, CITCF 2017 will debut the rural accommodation sector, integrating resources display, trade negotiation, industrial communication and information release as a whole, providing a perfect platform for national rural accommodation industry to showcase strength, build brand, expand market and discuss cooperation. Since a lot of rural accommodation architectures have adopted wooden structure or log cabin, this year’s fair will also embrace a number of wooden structure enterprises under the organization of Planning and Design Institute of Forest Products Industry, providing unique tourism log cabin experience for onsite visitors. During the 3rd year of National Tourism Administration bringing up “Toilet Revolution”, this year’s fair will display national tourism toilet results and innovations, inviting industrial leading enterprises to give presentation and speech on the latest tourism ecological toilet and system. Besides, leading enterprises from 31 provinces, cities or districts and Xinjiang construction corps will also display in halls for provinces and cities, thematic showcasing, outdoor supplies and souvenir, camping equipment and experience.

During the fair, a series of professional forum and event will also be held concurrently, including the 1st China Rural Accommodation Developing Investment Forum, Seminar on Chinese Toilet Revolution 2017, Chinese Traditional Handicraft Seminar, Tourism Product Design Competition, Tourism Commodity Development Seminar as well as Chinese Traditional Art and Crafts Show, local representative tourism cuisine taste, wine tasting and food festival.

With the purpose of “Promoting Tourism Commodity Innovation and Impelling Tourism Commodity Trade”, the 9th China International Tourism Commodities Fair will bring a brilliant tourism commodity carnival for exhibitors, buyers, visitors and media from a brand new perspective and concept.
